Impact
of the Montreal Show
The Montreal Motorcycle Show is the largest in Canada in terms
of audited paid attendance and ranks among the major motorcycle
shows in North America.
For
prospective exhibitors, whether you are planning to launch a new
product, service or concept or whether you simply want to increase
market share, at no other point in the next cycle will your promotional
efforts be more effective than right now. No other event or promotional
tool will allow you to reach such a large number of motorcyclists,
present or future.
Furthermore, the enthusiastic, even passionate nature of our clientele
translates into solid economic benefits for our exhibitors.
In
2008, the Show will again play a vital role in launching the motorcycle
season in Quebec.
From
1991 to 2006, show attendance has experienced steady growth with
an average figure of 47,570 paying visitors in the last three
years (52,458 visitors in 2004, 50,368 visitors in 2005, 39,884
visitors in 2006) and 38,154 visitors in 2007. If we add the attendees from 2003 (40,847 visitors)
and from 2002 (41,151 visitors), we get an average of 44,942 visitors
per Show on a five year period.
In
all perspective, a solid performance that maintains itself year
after year and plays a first rate role in your marketing and sale
strategies.
In short, by its key positioning in the seasonal cycle and the
very nature of its clientele, the show provides a strong stimulus
to the Quebec market, season after season.
Following
the trend of the last six years, the Montreal Motorcycle Show
will occupy the full surface of a huge single hall with an area
of more than 200,000 square feet. Displays will feature new models
of motorcycles, ATV’S, scooters, custom and vintage motorcycles
as well as the full spectrum of specialized clothing and accessories.
In
memory of a young motorcycle journalist whom died of complications
related to leukemia (Yves-Martin Proulx/Cycle Canada and Moto
Journal), a Blood Donor Clinic has been held for the last six
years. This is done in collaboration with Héma-Quebec and
with strong support from family and friends.
For
2008, the Montreal Motorcycle Show and the Blood Donor Clinic
will be held at the Montreal Convention Centre on February 22,
23 and 24.
